Sneak Peak! | Family Fun

I've been so blessed to have known this family for as long as I have.  Their younger daughter was in my freshman bible study at Clemson and she's part of the group of girls that I go to the cabin with each year.  So when she called me about doing some pictures for her family around her mom's birthday, I was SO excited!  It was so much fun to have an excuse to hang out with their family... although I'm sure they will tell you that I don't need an excuse, that I'm welcome at any time.  And I believe it because they're just that wonderful.

Since this was for Kathy's birthday, I'm going to leave you with a teaser of her and Kendall.  And because there are so many good ones, I'm giving you a taste with two photos.  Can't wait to share more!

Seniors | Nic

Let me introduce you to Nic... we had a lot of fun with his senior session!  Some of that has to do with the fact that some of his family came along to cheer him on, make funny faces at him, and just be the fun and wonderful family that they are!  As we wandered around downtown Greenville, Nic caught me up to speed on how things are going, how prom went the weekend before, and how he's looking forward to his senior year.

Basketball is a big part of Nic's life and due to a couple of reasons, including a torn ACL, he wasn't able to play this past year.  So, he's definitely looking forward to being on the court again!  Nic is such a genuine guy who loves the Lord, loves his family and is looking forward to what his future has in store.

Nic, congratulations on becoming a senior!  I hope you have a wonderful summer and that you enjoy your pictures and your website!

This spot is one of my favorites.  And this was at the beginning of the session.  Nic, you rock.

I love these in the "alley".

Nic - so natural!  You had this posing thing down in no. time. flat.

One of my favorites from the session...

Yes, he is palming the basketball.  I can totally do that too... with a basketball made for Smurfs.

I feel like this should be an ad... or on a commercial!

Nic loves this hat.  Loves it.

But even after his explanation, I don't get why the sticker has to stay on.
But, as is obvious from this session and these pictures, you are way cooler than I am,
so I'm just going to have to take your word for the sticker thing!

Nic, your smile is SO genuine!

Yet, at the same time, you've got the GQ/model look d-o-w-n.

Joanna and Rebekah (and mom!) - thanks for all your help!  Lydia... we missed you!

Seniors | Nick

Nick is one of those guys that is so genuine, you can't help but feel at ease around him.  He's full of smiles and laughter and a willingness to help with whatever is going on.  He's an incredible big brother to his younger brother and sister and from what I hear, he's a pretty great son too.

Nick, I'm so excited for you and your senior year... just don't mind the few tears you might see from me as the year goes by.  It's been such a joy to watch you grow into the young man that you are.  Thank you for pursuing God, connecting with the church, your family, and your friends, and for engaging the world.  You are such an encouragement to so many people around you!

I hope you and your family enjoy the pictures and your website!

Boys will be boys... Nick is smiling so big b/c he had just given the truck the international
"honk your horn!" signal and the truck driver totally obliged!

We have to give a shout-out to Nick's sister Gabrielle for helping make Nick laugh!

Nick, this is awesome.  Your model face is perfect.

Nick, you totally rocked these pictures.  Thanks for such a fun session!

As I mentioned above... thanks again to one of the best assistants ever!

Seniors | Sinead

I am so excited for this week... because I finally get to introduce you to these seniors!  There are a few guys and girls this week and there will be more as the summer comes along.

But, first, I want you to meet Sinead.  She is a beautiful girl, inside and out.  She's not yet sure where she wants to go to college, but I know she will do well wherever she chooses to go.  Sinead is the kind of girl who can do whatever she puts her mind to.  Volleyball had been one of her things for quite some time, but at the beginning of the school year, she tore her ACL during a practice.  The road to recovery has been more difficult than she could have imagined, but she has encouraged ME with how she has stuck with it and worked so hard to get back to 100%!  Anyone that can stick with doing lunges for 20 minutes at physical therapy is my H-E-R-O.

Sinead, it has been such a joy to have gotten to know you these past few years and it was so much fun to do this session with you.  I hope you enjoy some of my favorite pictures and even more photos on your website!  Much love, sabrina

Sinead, you are simply gorgeous.

And you have fabulous fashion sense.

Oh the light... it was a beautiful backdrop for a beautiful young lady!

Sinead, I'm sure I told you this at least 3 dozen times, but I still love this dress!

I love these.

One last thing... each of my seniors this year will get there very own website!  Be sure to see more of Sinead's images and find out more about her by clicking on the image below!

I'm a Greenville, SC based wedding and portrait destination photographer who loves to be behind the lens. I look forward to hearing what you think about the posts and images as I work with amazing people to capture life and give them images they love.
