New blog | Photographs by Sabrina

It's time... time to update your bookmarks and time to see pictures as they were meant to be seen... large!! I'm so excited to release this new blog today!

It matches my brand, the pictures are bigger, at the bottom of each post, you can contact me or share the post directly to Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest without having to copy and paste the link!  Genius.

Head on over, take a look around and let me know what you think!  I love hearing from people... whether it's just to say hi, inquire about a session, or comment on a post.  Thanks so much for your support!

Fabulous Friday | Dance Like No One is Watching

This weekend is going to be full.  Like - mom's-coming-into-town-we're-going-to-a-baseball-game-shooting-a-wedding-going-to-a-birthday-party-going-to-church-having-a-big-lunch-and-a-normal-busy-Sunday kind of weekend.  But I'm SO excited about it all!  As I'm wrapping up Janet & Andrew's wedding edits, I came across this one of Janet's dad dancing with his daughter.  I just love this!  His smile is so genuine and he's enjoying the moment.  Immensely.

Whether you have a crazy busy weekend or nothing on the calendar, I hope you enjoy every minute of it! The older I get, the faster time goes and I don't want you to miss out on enjoying the time you have.

Happy weekend!

Harper in Black and White

Way back when... a long long time ago... people used to take pictures with this stuff called "film".  And my most favorite thing to do with that film was to put a roll of black and white in my camera and hunt down those good shots that would pop once developed.  But, it would be so frustrating to have not finished a roll of black and white when something came up that you just wanted to capture in color.  Oh the woes of film photography :-)

So now, in the digital age, when I can have bright color or stark black and white with any and everything in between... it's hard to decide!  And most times, I find myself leaning towards black and white than color. SOOO... I decided to post this full session of my sweet "niece" Harper totally in black and white.  And between the black and white and her eyes and her adorable self, some of these images just catch my breath.  I love them!

Harper, I can't believe you're 18 months old. You're walking, you're starting to talk, you're feeding yourself, you're making us laugh, and we're all falling more in love with you each and every day.

Sometimes kids end up posing without even knowing they're doing it.

I LOVE this image. Even with the Wi-Fi sign in the window!
I feel like it should be from the 60s and the sign should say "Air Conditioned Inside".

This is her saying "Cheese".

I know she looks a little angry in the image below, but wow. I just love it.

It was time for some shopping with Mommy.

Oh my heavens... Harper... you make my heart stop and my eyes well with tears.
If I love you this much, how will it be possible to love my own children even more??

She wanted so badly to carry her own backpack!

But it got heavy quickly...

Turns out she wanted some water.
Modeling is hard work :-)

We think she got the shopping gene from her mom ;-)

Oh... that laugh!

Oh my heavens... again!

This one? It totally and completely makes my day.

Harper - you are SO incredibly precious and I'm so thankful for you, your parents and that I get to watch you grow up.  I love you so much!

Friends and Fellow Tigers

This family is just adorable.  I work with Kelli and between seeing her in the office from time to time and her being such a big help with our wedding last fall, I've just fallen in love with her!  We're going to get pictures of their entire family one day soon, but with her youngest being 7 months old and changing so much EVERY day, we snapped a few pictures of him last week... and some of big sister too.  She didn't want to miss out on the action!

Yay for fellow Clemson fans/grads!

I had to share this one... 1) it's amazing and 2) it's proof that kids have minds of their own!

He was looking up at his mommy... can you tell he adores her??

Beautiful girl!!

Sibling love can be so sweet.

She wasn't really pouting... this was one of those "catch in the nick of time" images!

Her daddy was asking her what a Tiger says... she has a very convincing ROAR!

Brother had gone in for his nap and it was time for sister's snack!

I think she enjoyed it :-)

I'm a Greenville, SC based wedding and portrait destination photographer who loves to be behind the lens. I look forward to hearing what you think about the posts and images as I work with amazing people to capture life and give them images they love.
