Fabulous Friday | 100 Posts Later & an Announcement

I started this blog in September of 2008 during my lunch break.  The measly little post that I put up to announce to the Internet (aka the world) that I was embarking on this venture is actually kind of pitiful.  But, that's ok.  You have to start somewhere!  It's kind of amazing the things I've been able to do and how much I've learned in the past two years too, but by no means have I arrived.  Hopefully I never will "arrive" at the point where I've learned all I can learn and have shot all that can be photographed.  Because if that's the case, if I get to a point where I think I've "arrived", then someone needs to come and take my camera away and tell me that I'm done.  Life is no fun if there isn't more to learn, and I never want to be arrogant enough to believe that I've reached that point!

So, in light of that, I'm stepping out and trying something new, something I've been thinking about since last October.  Are you ready for it?  This is a big announcement... and what better place/time to announce it than on my 100th blog post??  Did you see that, Internet?

Crazy.  Anyway, now for the announcement.  Or I could just show you the images below (which are going to be the front and back of a postcard).  I can't wait... and I hope all 5 of you that read my blog will be able to come! :)

There is still much to be done by September 10 for this show, so prayers for diligence and for my procrastinator tendencies to take a back seat are much appreciated :)
