Abstract

Well, these are kind of abstract. Regardless, they're my favorite non-traditional ones from a shoot I did in January (yes, I'm a little behind) for some friends I know from work. I'll be sure to post some of the more traditional ones later.

Judith

I have known Judith since she was 3. And now she is a young woman at Winthrop! I've had the honor of doing pictures for her over the past few years and I hope to put up a collage in the future of the pictures I've done of her over the years. She's always been such a pretty girl, but the person she has become makes her beautiful!

Our Nation's Capital

This Christmas I went up to Washington, DC to see my mom, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Christmas Eve I went to church with mom and luckily had my camera for the candle light service.

Christmas night, mom and I went into the city to do some late night sight-seeing so that I could get a few pictures. Since I have family in DC, I’ve been there and seen the monuments and memorials countless times. But it never fails that I’m always awestruck and filled with pride by the history of our country. These men (and women!) gave a lot for us and I was excited to be able to capture some of that with these monuments and memorials this past Christmas.

La Crêperie

When I was in D.C. for Christmas, my beautiful "sister" took me to a creperie and it was delicious.
You can check out her fashion blog at http://la-rue-neuve.blogspot.com/. Not only is she gorgeous but she's got a LOT of fashion sense!!
Just outside of the crêperie was an ice skating rink and I couldn't help but watch these two little girls. How precious is this??

Take me back...

... to December 2008!  I'm finally catching up and wanted to share some pictures of our trip downtown with some friends from Ukraine.  They were in town for a couple of weeks for work and to visit family.  A trip to the upstate in South Carolina isn't complete without a trip to downtown Greenville!

Lindsay Lane

I took some pictures for my dear friend Lindsay last night in her home office in Greer. She started Lindsay Lane earlier this fall and has THE cutest stuff! She has helped me with invitations and Christmas cards and even getting a Photographs by Sabrina stamp... similar to the ones below. Check her out at http://www.lindsay-lane.com/. You won't be sorry!

The stamps are under the "more" section: http://www.lindsay-lane.com/more/. Happy shopping!!

The Sweet Life

I met Jessica and Todd at the Rock Quary in Greenville and had so much fun photographing them with their adorable little boy, William. One of my favorite things is capturing life as it happens... which I think we were able to do in some of these pictures. Thanks so much, you guys! I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Sister, Sister

These two were tons-o-fun. I just met Stephanie a few months ago, but I only met her sister the day of the shoot. She was in Spartanburg rehearsing for the Nutcracker and you can tell this girl is a poised ballerina. I love it! Girls, I hope you like the pictures. Thanks for a fun shoot!

perfect steps

I went to Nashville to see my friend Arica a couple of weeks ago. She and her roommates have THE most adorable house with the best set of photographable (is that a word??) stairs leading to the back door of the house. Luckily with good friends who know you and your camera, they will comply with most of my photographic whims. And look what happens when they do... isn't she beautiful?? Thanks, girl. Love you!

New Camera, Good Friends

This was the first photo session I had with my new camera... woohoo! I love this thing. But, the camera isn't the point. This amazing family is! Their newborn, Alex, was exactly 3 weeks old at this shoot and he is such a wonderful baby! Holly and I work together and it has been such a joy to sit beside her during her pregnancy and now to photograph her sweet sweet family. Ella kept us on our toes but, as always, provided much laughter! Thanks so much for the fun evening!
It was hard to choose which pictures to show from their shoot, but here is a sampling of my favorites...
I'm a Greenville, SC based wedding and portrait destination photographer who loves to be behind the lens. I look forward to hearing what you think about the posts and images as I work with amazing people to capture life and give them images they love.
