Expecting | Leslie, Philip, and baby

Leslie and I played basketball together when we were younger.  Well, she played.  I mainly ran up and down the court.  We went to two different junior high schools but met up again in high school and really started to become friends through orchestra, horse pool, YoungLife, and our service club, Civinettes.  Once we graduated, we both ended up at Clemson and in the same freshman bible study, which includes girls that we still get together with every year when we tailgate at Clemson games, hang out for a day here and there during the summer, or for our big cabin trip each December.

I LOVED getting the call that she was expecting a baby!  Of course I always love getting that call, but when you've been friends with someone since childhood, it's just a different kind of call.   So when she asked me about taking maternity pictures for her... I was beyond thrilled.  The day they came to Greenville for the pictures, we got in their car to drive to the park and one of the first things Leslie and Philip said to me was, "We aren't photogenic, so you have your work cut out for you!"  My response?  Well, just take a look at the following pictures.  This is one time when I'm glad to say this to my friends, "Liar, liar, pants on fire!"

These next two pictures prove just how stylish Leslie is... I have so much to learn from her.

I mean, the girl wore heels.  To her maternity shoot.

Thank you, wind, for working in our favor for just a bit.

I just love you guys.  That's all there is to it.

I just love this...

That's right... I told you we went to Clemson.

I know you guys are excited about Allie's arrival... I can't wait to meet her either!
