The Sweet Life

I met Jessica and Todd at the Rock Quary in Greenville and had so much fun photographing them with their adorable little boy, William. One of my favorite things is capturing life as it happens... which I think we were able to do in some of these pictures. Thanks so much, you guys! Sister, Sister

These two were tons-o-fun. I just met Stephanie a few months ago, but I only met her sister the day of the shoot. She was in Spartanburg rehearsing for the Nutcracker and you can tell this girl is a poised ballerina. I love it! Girls, I hope you like the pictures. Thanks for a fun shoot!

perfect steps

I went to Nashville to see my friend Arica a couple of weeks ago. She and her roommates have THE most adorable house with the best set of photographable (is that a word??) stairs leading to the back door of the house. Luckily with good friends who know you and your camera, they will comply with most of my photographic whims. And look what happens when they do... isn't she beautiful?? Thanks, girl. Love you!

New Camera, Good Friends

This was the first photo session I had with my new camera... woohoo! I love this thing. But, the camera isn't the point. This amazing family is! Their newborn, Alex, was exactly 3 weeks old at this shoot and he is such a wonderful baby! Holly and I work together and it has been such a joy to sit beside her during her pregnancy and now to photograph her sweet sweet family. Ella kept us on our toes but, as always, provided much laughter! Thanks so much for the fun evening!

Stephen Alexander

Alex was born September 24, 2008 at Mary Black Hospital in Spartanburg, SC. I get to work with his mommy at Upward and just love her and her family... especially all of the stories of Alex's big sister, Ella! The girl cracks me up. Anyway, here are a few pictures of the precious little boy. Isn't he (and mommy!) beautiful??

Grace Church Downtown

Sunday was the first official day of Grace Downtown. There were about 163 people and it was a wonderful time of worship! We're meeting at The Handlebar on Sunday mornings at 10am. Come check it out!!

Travel

Eight years ago I worked at Delta for three semesters in college when I was studying Mechanical Engineering. Well, one of the perks of working for an airline is free flights... So, I blame Delta for giving me the "travel bug". I love getting on a plane and flying to a place that I've never seen as well as to places that I've been many times before. Well, you add that to my love of photography and you have a match made in photographer's heaven! This is only a sampling of my travel photos since many of my pictures were taken pre-digital age.

Up and Running

Well, it's been suggested and mentioned and thought about so now it's finally here... a website just for my photography. I'm really looking forward to seeing where this venture takes me!
